WESNet role in the rehabilitation process of the Earthquake affected areas On Saturday October 08, 2005 at about 08:55 a.m. our county experienced the first ever sorrowful incident of the history in the shape of an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 on Richter scale. The substantial magnitude of earthquake jerked the entire region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and North West Frontier Province (NWFP) causing whole spread devastation and deaths in the area.
